If You cannot upgrade Your device to the newest Firmware version, You should check its Hardware Version.

5Gi devices that are Hardware 1 could be upgrade up to 3.23R firmware version. This is the last firmware that will work on that hardware if You upgrade it up to the higher version of firmware device will reboot and nothing change.
