Problem with single CPE device and Polling Mode Polling mode on CPE devices uses a lot of processing power and is generaly not intended for setups with one CPE station. Due to additional control frames used it will always be slower than regular Access Point / Access Point Client mode. If you connect one CPE in polling mode to the base station it will pass traffic correctly, but you most likely will have problems loging into it and configuring it through WWW interface (it may be a little better using Command Line Interface - CLI). In Polling Client mode all the device processing power is used to move data/control frames therefore device management is very slow. However, as soon as you connect second (or more) device operating in Polling Mode to the Base Station, there will be no problem managing any of the two (or more) CPE devices anymore.
